Starcraft 2 Growth in Just One Year

This spectacular video by LaxxSC highlights the remarkable growth that what most consider a simple game has had across the world.  In just one year the Blizzard created RTS (Real Time Strategy) game, Starcraft 2, has surpassed it's predecessor Starcraft as a game with a truly global appeal that has birthed an almost unrivaled competitive scene.  While South Korea still remains the Mecca of Esports, Starcraft 2 has  awakened a new thirst for competitive gaming across the world which get's bigger and bigger.  Just this past weekend the NASL (North American Star League) finished it's first season reaching over 80,000 viewers online for the finals and over 1000 in attendance live.  Older and more established tournaments like MLG, Dreamhack, and the GSL reach even higher numbers.  Don't believe me?  Watch the video for just a taste of how what this fantastic game has accomplished in only one years time.
